The web is heaving with reviews of comics, mostly mainstream comics and mostly by fans or retailers. Some are excellent, such as those produced by Nottingham’s Page 45 emporium (who know their stuff), but few are by hard-pressed creatives who work in the medium and therefore, one would hope, have something extra to say about how a particular title fares in the comics medium. Now with more time on my hands, here are my thoughts on a few of the more obscure works around, along with fresh takes on golden oldies that really should be in everybody’s collection.
