When Boris Johnson was The Times correspondent in Brussels, he was accused by fellow journalists of making up stories and peppering authentic stories with outright lies. He admits he had fun hurling empty bottles into the neighbour’s garden (the UK), hearing them smash and the resulting consternation. Now this, Brexit, plainly a protest vote against austerity and an expression of the xenophobia whipped up by the Right in England. Time to get drawing again!
